The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoA&FW) on April 09, 2026, notified the Fertiliser (Inorganic, Organic or Mixed) (Control) Fifth Amendment Order, 2026, further to amend the Fertiliser (Inorganic, Organic or Mixed) (Control) Order, 1985.
The following has been stated: -
•Schedule I (Part A) under the heading “Specifications of Fertilisers” has been amended to revise the list of approved fertilisers.
•Entries corresponding to serial numbers 4 and 7 under Straight Nitrogenous Fertilisers have been omitted.
•Additionally, serial number 10 under N.P. Complex fertilisers have also been removed, thereby updating the applicable specifications.
This notification shall come into force on April 10, 2026.
