Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) on April 10, 2026, issued a corrigendum to its earlier notification dated March 30, 2026 (G.S.R. 227(E)), introducing technical corrections in various Income-tax schedules and forms. The amendments aim to rectify typographical errors and ensure consistency in computation references across the notified formats.

Key changes include substitution of incorrect references in Schedule CG (such as correction from “6c – 6d” to “5c – 5d” and “B12a” to “B11a”), omission of certain columns in Schedule 112A and Schedule 115AD, and correction of entries in Schedule OS and CFL. Additionally, formatting corrections such as removal of greyed blank cells have also been made to improve clarity.

These revisions streamline reporting requirements and remove ambiguities in tax return schedules, ensuring accurate computation and alignment across different parts of the Income-tax return forms for taxpayers.
