EHS ComplianceThe Department of Information & Publicity, Goa, on April 09, 2026, issued a Heatwave Advisory.

The following has been stated: -

•Goa State Disaster Management Authority issued a heatwave advisory due to rising temperatures in Goa.

•People are advised to stay hydrated, wear light cotton clothing, and limit sun exposure, especially between 12 PM and 3 PM. 

•Use protective measures like hats, umbrellas, and consume fluids such as ORS, coconut water, and buttermilk.

•Keep homes, workplaces, animals, and birds cool with adequate ventilation and water availability. 

•Avoid strenuous activities, dehydration-causing drinks, and take extra care of vulnerable groups like children, the elderly, and pregnant women.
