The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on April 10, 2026, issued the Annual Fee & Regulatory Convenience Fee for Remote Trading Participants.
Remote Trading Participants are required to pay two types of charges: an Annual Fee of USD 10,000 and a Regulatory Convenience Fee calculated monthly at 0.00010% of turnover. The annual fee is automatically debited from the participant’s bank account on April 24 each financial year (or the next business day if it falls on a holiday), with delayed payments attracting interest at 5% per annum.
For participants who enable trading rights during the year, the annual fee is charged on a pro-rata basis at the time of activation. Any excess amount collected will be adjusted against the next year’s fee, and the annual fee is non-refundable.
The Regulatory Convenience Fee is calculated on total transaction turnover, with options contracts considered based on premium turnover. This fee is debited monthly by the fifth working day of the following calendar month.
