The Government of Karnataka on April 10, 2026, issued the Draft Karnataka Excise (Bottling of Liquor) (Amendment) Rules, 2026 to further amen the Karnataka Excise (Bottling of Liquor) Rules, 1967.
The following amendments have been stated:
• In rule 15 of the Karnataka Excise (Bottling of Liquor) Rules, 1967, in sub-rule (3), clause (h) shall be omitted.
Any objection or suggestion which may be received by the State Government from any person in respect of the said draft before the period of 10 days will be considered by the State Government. The objections or suggestions may be addressed to the Additional Chief Secretary to Government,, Finance Department, Vidhana Soudha, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Veedhi, Bengaluru -01.
