The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on April 13, 2026, issued a notification regarding an amendment in the Import Policy of Glufosinate and its salts covered under Chapter 38 of Schedule I (Import Policy) of ITC (HS) 2022.
The following has been stated: -
•The import of Glufosinate and its salts falling under HS Codes 38089193, 38089199, 38089361, 38089391, 38089399, 38089912, 38089991 and 38089999 of Chapter 38 of Schedule I (Import Policy) of ITC (HS) 2022, shall be Restricted where the combined amount of the CIF value and applicable anti-dumping duty, calculated on a per kilogram basis, is less than INR 1,154; such restriction shall be operative for a period of six months from the date of publication of this notification.
