Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on April 11, 2026, issued the amendment to the Sixth Schedule to the said Finance Act, 2018.

The following has been stated namely: -

• Against Item No. 2, for the entry in column (3), the entry "Rs. 36 per litre" shall be substituted.

This shall come into force on April 11, 2026.
