The Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) on April 13, 2026, issued reminder - Information sharing on Cyber Security Incident.
MCX has directed all trading members to report Cyber Incidents — whether occurred or non-occurred — for the quarter ending March 31, 2026, through the Exchange portal at https://member.mcxindia.com. This requirement is in continuation of a series of earlier circulars issued between 2018 and 2026, and the deadline for submission is April 15, 2026. A help file for online submission is available on the SFTP common path at https://sftp.mcxindia.com/Common.
As per Exchange circular MCX/MEM/348/2025 dated July 18, 2025, a technology-based shared submission mechanism has been established among exchanges. Trading members who are registered with NSE as well as any other exchange (BSE, MSE, MCX, or NCDEX) are required to submit their Cyber Security Incident details to NSE only, which will then share the submission with the respective exchanges. Members not registered with NSE must continue to submit directly to MCX through the existing process.
Members are reminded to ensure timely submission in the prescribed format before the April 15, 2026 deadline. Non-compliance will render members liable for action as deemed fit by the Exchange.
