Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on April 13, 2026, issued revised Cut-off Timelines for Settlement Activities on April 17, 2026.

NSE Clearing has revised the cut-off timelines for various settlement activities on April 17, 2026, in view of SEBI circular dated July 27, 2022, on settlement of running accounts of client funds with Trading Members. The key changes include the EPI of Funds final cut-off being moved earlier from 7:45 PM to 7:00 PM, EPI of Securities from 9:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and EPI of Securities for clients using UPI block facility from 8:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The margin report download window has also been advanced from 10:30 PM to 9:00 PM.

On the other hand, some windows have been extended — the upstreaming of cash and fixed deposit receipts has been pushed later from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM, and the collateral allocation window has been extended from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Additionally, NSE Clearing will endeavour to release Cash, FDR, or Bank Guarantees within one hour of a request from clearing members on April 17, 2026, subject to availability of collateral after necessary margin checks.
