Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on April 15, 2026, issued circular on Storage charges for Bullion (Silver 100gm) in Commodity Derivatives Segment.

The circular issued with reference to earlier National Stock Exchange (NSE) communications, outlines the applicable storage and related charges for Silver in the Commodity Derivatives Segment. The storage charge for Silver is fixed at ₹0.50 per 100 grams per bar per day, which will be levied for holding the commodity in approved vaults.

In addition to storage charges, several ancillary charges will be directly payable to the vault. These include ₹350 per transaction for both deposit and window delivery, ₹2,500 for in-city door delivery (up to 800 kg) with an extra ₹5 per kg beyond 800 kg, and ₹35 per bar per activity for loading and unloading. All these charges are subject to applicable GST and other government levies, making the total cost dependent on prevailing tax rates.
