The Government of Rajasthan, on April 1, 2026, issued a notification under Section 71(2) of the Rajasthan Excise Act, 1950, granting a partial fee exemption to manufacturers within the state.
The notification provides that manufacturers of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and beer are exempted from payment of 50% of the bottling fee on quantities exported outside the state. This relief is applicable specifically under sub-rule (2) of Rule 69 of the Rajasthan Excise Rules, 1956.
The measure aims to promote exports and provide financial relief to liquor manufacturers operating in Rajasthan. The exemption is effective from April 1, 2026.
