The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), on April 9, 2026, issued a circular regarding the updated state-wise list of notified and non-notified districts under ESIC 2.0 as on March 31, 2026.
The circular is in continuation of the earlier circular dated October 31, 2025, and provides the latest status of implementation of the ESI Scheme across States/UTs. It highlights that 25 States/UTs have their entire areas notified under the scheme, while 11 States/UTs have partial coverage.
Further, a detailed district-wise updated list of notified and non-notified areas has been provided in Annexure-A for reference and necessary action by stakeholders.
