The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on April 10, 2026, notified the date of establishment and withdrawal of the Indian Standards related to Methods of Sampling and Test for Paints, Varnishes, and Related Products.
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Dates of Establishment shall be March 30, 2026 -
• IS 101 (Part 1/Sec 7) : 2026 ISO 2811-1 : 2023 Methods of Sampling and Test for Paints, Varnishes and Related Products Part 1 Test on Liquid Paints (General and Physical) Section 7 Mass per 10 Litres — Determination of Density — Pycnometer Method (Fifth Revision).
• IS 507 : 2026 General Purpose Grease for Defence Applications — Specification (Fourth Revision).
• IS 1448 (Part 97) : 2026 ISO 6249 : 2021 Petroleum and its Products — Methods of Test Part 97 Determination of Thermal Oxidation Stability of Gas Turbine Fuels (Second Revision).
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Date of Withdrawal shall be September 30, 2026: -
