The Government of Mizoram on April 13, 2026, declares Dry Days ahead of AMC Election 2026.
Government of Mizoram has declared Dry Days for the whole area of Aizawl Municipal Corporation w.e.f. 4:00 PM of April 20, 2026 to 4:00 PM of April 21, 2026 (i.e. 24 hours, immediately preceding the hours fixed for conclusion of Poll Day) and shall includes re-poll day (23rd April, 2026), if necessary and on April 27, 2026 (the date on which Counting of votes is to be taken up) on account of General Election to the Aizawl Municipal Corporation, 2026 during which sale and consumption of any intoxicating liquor or wine shall be prohibited· in the said areas.
