The Department of Finance, Gujarat, on March 30, 2026, issued a notification regarding the extension of the time limit for filing GST Appeals.
The following has been stated: -
•The Government of Gujarat has notified June 30, 2026, as the last date to file appeals before the Appellate Tribunal for orders communicated before April 01, 2026.
•For orders communicated on or after April 01, 2026, appeals must be filed within three months from the date of communication.
•This notification is issued under Section 112 of the Gujarat GST Act, 2017, based on GST Council recommendations.
This notification shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from September 17, 2025.
