The University Grants Commission (UGC) on April 15, 2026, issued a notification regarding a reminder on compliance with campus safety measures.
The following has been stated: -
•UGC has reminded Higher Education Institutions to comply with its December 18, 2025, advisory on preventing stray dog entry and ensuring campus safety, as per Supreme Court directions.
•Institutions were required to report actions taken through a specified link, but some have not yet submitted the details.
•Such institutions are now directed to furnish the required information by April 30, 2026.
