The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), on April 17, 2026, issued a notice regarding a mock trading session for the Electronic Gold Receipts (EGR) segment scheduled on April 18, 2026.
The notice provides a detailed schedule covering log-in, pre-open, continuous trading, switchover from Primary Site (PR) to Disaster Recovery (DR) site, and closing sessions, with trading running from 9:00 AM to 1:45 PM across both sites. Members using third-party or in-house systems via ETI APIs are encouraged to utilize the session to test functionalities such as risk-reduction mode and trading halt scenarios.
Further, it is clarified that trades executed during the mock session will not attract any margin, pay-in/pay-out obligations, or create legal liabilities. Additionally, a new BOLT Pro TWS version 12.60 is proposed for release separately, and members are requested to actively participate and provide feedback post-session.
