Secretarial ComplianceThe Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) on April 17, 2026, issued circular on Good Delivery in Gold Mini Contracts.

The Multi Commodity Exchange Clearing Corporation Limited has issued a clarification, in continuation of an earlier circular, regarding the acceptance of gold refined by UAE Good Delivery (UAEGD) refiners for Gold Mini (100g) futures contracts.

As per MCX Good Delivery norms and contract specifications, serially numbered 100-gram gold bars produced by approved UAEGD refiners—Al Etihad Gold FZCO, Emirates Gold DMCC, and Sam Precious Metals FZ-LLC—will now be accepted as valid “Good Delivery,” provided they are accompanied by the supplier’s quality certificate. This change will be effective for Gold Mini futures contracts from the May 2026 expiry onwards.

Members and their clients are advised to ensure that only eligible gold bars meeting contract specifications are delivered and to verify vault space availability before initiating deliveries.
