Secretarial ComplianceThe Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) on April 17, 2026, issued circular on Delivery & Invoices Settlement Schedule for May 2026 expiry contracts.

The Multi Commodity Exchange Clearing Corporation Limited has issued guidelines on post-payout invoice tracking and settlement timelines through the ComRIS system, in continuation of its earlier circular.

As per the prescribed process, buyers must submit invoice details on the payout day, while seller members are required to upload invoice copies and related documents by payout +1 day (2 PM). Buyers must then confirm these documents by payout +1 day (6 PM). For commodities requiring additional documentation, timelines are extended by three working days. Any submissions beyond cut-off times will be treated as received on the next working day.

The circular also provides the delivery and invoice settlement schedule for contracts expiring in May 2026, covering timelines for fund and commodity pay-in/pay-out, delivery modes, and invoice settlement procedures. Members are advised to strictly adhere to these timelines, ensure timely sharing of tax invoices and supporting documents, and follow standardized communication practices for any queries.
