Commercial ComplianceThe U.T. Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, on April 17, 2026, notified the Goa, Daman & Diu Registration of Tourist Trade (3rd Amendment) Rules, 2026, further to amend the Goa, Daman and Diu Registration of Tourist Trade Rules, 1985.

The following has been stated: -

•The amendment to the Goa, Daman & Diu Registration of Tourist Trade Rules takes immediate effect and revises registration fees for hotel keepers and travel agents across different categories. 

•It removes the requirement that owners must reside in homestay establishments and increases the maximum number of rooms from 6 to 8.

•It also empowers the authority to decide the documents required for homestay/bed & breakfast registration. 

•Additionally, it updates and standardizes registration fees for tourism-related services such as boats, taxis, camping agencies, and porters.
