•The Ministry of Corporate Affairs is seeking stakeholder input to modernize corporate compliance under the Companies Act, 2013, through a digital, data-centric filing system.

•The consultation, led by the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, aims to simplify forms, expand automation (STP), and enable seamless data sharing across regulators.

•It covers the entire corporate lifecycle from incorporation to closure, identifying opportunities to reduce duplication and improve efficiency.

•The reform aligns with the national vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 to build a globally benchmarked, transparent, and technology-driven corporate governance framework.
