Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on March 26, 2026, issued the notification to rescind the notification no. 18/2022- Central Excise, dated July 19, 2022 which states “the Special Additional Excise Duty on production of Petroleum Crude and export of Aviation Turbine Fuel”

The following has been stated namely: -

• The notification no. 18/2022- Central Excise has been rescinded, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such rescission

This shall come into force on March 26, 2026.
