The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on April 20, 2026, issued a notification regarding the update of the single filing system through API-based integration between Stock Exchanges.
The following has been stated: -
•The stock exchange has extended the single filing system through API integration to include XBRL filings for specified disclosures, effective April 20, 2026.
•This expansion covers key events such as annual reports, corporate restructuring, changes in key managerial personnel, auditor resignations, and fraud or default disclosures, primarily for equity and equity-plus-debt listed entities.
•However, certain disclosures, including those under Regulations 29, 30, and Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reports, must still be filed separately in PDF format until further notice.
•The system aims to streamline compliance and reduce duplication, and listed entities are advised to avoid multiple filings on both exchanges.
•Any post-submission queries must be addressed to the exchange that raises them.
