Industry Specific ComplianceThe Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on March 27, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Amendment in Para 9.05 of FTP 2023 to remove per-consignment value limit for courier exports.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The amendment revises Para 9.05 related to exports through courier services or Foreign Post Offices. 

• Earlier, exports via courier were capped at ₹10,00,000 per consignment. 

• The revised rule removes this value limit, allowing exports of any value through courier services (subject to existing export policies and ITC(HS) regulations). 

The change becomes effective from April 01, 2026
