The Industries & Commerce Department, Government of Telangana on April 17, 2026, notified regarding the Prime Minister Internship Scheme – Third Phase (Pilot Extension).
The following has been stated:
• The Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, has launched the third phase of the Prime Minister Internship Scheme, offering students and young candidates an opportunity to gain practical work experience in top 2000 CSR-contributing companies across India. The internship lasts for 6 to 9 months, with a monthly stipend of ₹9,000 and a one-time grant of ₹6,000, along with insurance coverage.
• Eligible applicants aged 18–25 who have completed 10th, 12th, ITI, Diploma, or are in the final year of undergraduate or postgraduate courses can apply, provided their family income is below ₹12 lakh annually.
• Candidates shall register on the official portal, complete verification, upload required documents, and select up to three internship options.
