The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gases (MoPNG) on April 21, 2026, issued the Aviation Turbine Fuel (Regulation of Marketing) Amendment Order, 2026, further to amend the Aviation Turbine Fuel (Regulation of Marketing) Order, 2001.
This shall come into effect from April 21, 2026.
The following has been stated:
• In clause 2, (i) sub-clause (ii) shall be substituted with “aviation turbine fuel” is a complex mixture of hydrocarbons conforming to IS 1571 specification or its blend with synthesised hydrocarbons as specified in IS 17081.
• In sub-clause (v), the letters and words “IBP Co. Limited” shall be omitted.
• In clause 8, sub-clause (C) shall be substituted with “(C) the provisions of section 103 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (46 of 2023), relating to search and seizure shall, as far as may be, apply to searches and seizures under this order”.
