The Labour Department, Govt. of Delhi on April 15, 2026, notified regarding the Revision of Minimum Wages in Delhi with Updated Dearness Allowance (Effective April 1, 2025).
The following has been stated:
• The Government has revised the minimum wages by updating the Dearness Allowance (DA) based on the average All India Consumer Price Index for July–December 2024. The revised wages are effective from April 1, 2025, in accordance with the provisions of the Minimum Wages Act, 1948.
• The revision increases monthly wages across all categories. For workers, the updated wages are ₹18,456 for unskilled, ₹20,371 for semi-skilled, and ₹22,411 for skilled categories. For clerical and supervisory staff, wages are ₹20,371 for non-matriculates, ₹22,411 for matriculates (non-graduates), and ₹24,356 for graduates and above.
• This adjustment reflects a DA increase due to a rise of 11.32 points in the consumer price index, ensuring wages keep pace with inflation.
