The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA), on the basis of September 2025 market data, has computed the retail price of a formulation containing Dicyclomine Hydrochloride 10 mg + Diclofenac Sodium 25 mg (with Benzyl Alcohol as preservative) under Para 5 of the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013. The product is manufactured by Nichepharm Lifesciences Private Limited and marketed by Blue Cross Laboratories Private Limited.
The price determination is based on market data of companies having at least 1% market share, considering parameters such as MAT value, Price to Retailer (PTR), number of packs, and average PTR. A retailer margin of 16% has been added to arrive at the final retail price, in accordance with the prescribed methodology under DPCO, 2013.
Accordingly, the worked-out and proposed retail price has been fixed at ₹10.05 per ml (excluding GST), as against the claimed price of ₹10.50, reflecting a price rationalisation under regulatory norms.
