The West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDC) on April 21, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Declaration of multiplying factor for DTR & value of scrap materials for the month of April 2026.
The following has been stated namely: -
• As per the Rate Contract Order (dated August 23, 2024), valid from September 01, 2024 for two years, provisions for DTR (Distribution Transformer) repair pricing are applied.
• The multiplying factor (based on PV formula and IEEMA guidelines) for April 2026 is 1.396178 for aluminium-wound transformers.
• The multiplying factor for copper-wound transformers for April 2026 is 1.449572.
• Scrap rates are determined as per the MSTC Bulletin (March 2026).
• Applicable scrap rates for April 2026: Aluminium ₹215/kg, Copper ₹990.10/kg, and Brass ₹663/kg.
