The Directorate of Geology and Mining, Uttarakhand on April 16, 2026, notified regarding the integration of Weighbridges and CCTV Systems with MDTSS Software in Stone Crushers.
The following has been stated:
• The notice directs that all approved stone crushers and screening plants in the state must integrate their computerized weighbridges (Dharamkanta) and CCTV systems with the MDTSS software through API integration.
• To ensure compliance and awareness, the information is to be published in the Kumaon and Garhwal division editions. The objective is to enable real-time monitoring, transparency, and better regulation of stone crushing operations, particularly in tracking material movement and preventing irregularities.
• This step strengthens digital oversight and enforcement mechanisms in the mining and stone crushing sector.
