The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on April 24, 2026, notified regarding the Update of the single-filing system through API-based integration between Stock Exchanges.
The following has been stated:
• The Exchange, in line with guidelines under Securities and Exchange Board of India (LODR Regulations, 2015), has extended the single filing system through API-based integration to cover additional XBRL-based disclosures effective April 25, 2026.
• Under this framework, listed entities can now make a single submission for various disclosures—such as board meeting outcomes (dividends, buybacks, bonuses, delisting), agreements/contracts, shareholder meeting notices, insolvency events, securities issuance/alterations, corporate restructuring, change in directors/KMP, auditor resignations, and more—without duplicating filings across exchanges. The facility applies primarily to equity and equity+debt listed companies.
• However, for certain disclosures (e.g., Regulations 29, 30, 34, 39, and trading window closures), parallel PDF filings are still mandatory and not fully covered under the single filing system. Similarly, some filings like Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reports, will continue to require separate submissions.
