Labour ComplianceThe Government of Madhya Pradesh, on March 31, 2026, issued a notification regarding the revision of Minimum Wages for 67 scheduled employments, including specialized sectors like Agarbatti and printing.

The following has been stated: -

•The Labour Commissioner, Madhya Pradesh (Indore) revised minimum wages effective from April 01 to September 30, 2026, under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948.

•The revision is based on an 11-point rise in the Consumer Price Index (avg. 425) for July–December 2025.

•It covers 67 scheduled employments, including specialized sectors like Agarbatti and printing.

•Unskilled workers’ wages are set at ₹12,425/month (₹478/day), with higher daily rates for semi-skilled (₹516), skilled (₹582), and highly skilled (₹645).

•Separate rates apply for agriculture, government workers, and bidi rollers, with standard rounding rules for wage calculation.
