Secretarial ComplianceThe Multi-Commodity Exchange of India Ltd. (MCX) on April 24, 2026, issued a circular regarding modification in the Contract Specifications (Strike price Interval and Number of Strikes) in Zinc Options Contracts.

The following has been stated: -

•The Multi-Commodity Exchange of India Limited has revised Zinc options contract specifications effective May 11, 2026.

•Strike price interval has been increased from ₹2.50 to ₹5.00 to streamline pricing.

•Number of strikes has been expanded from 7-1-7 to 10-1-10, improving market depth and flexibility.

•The changes will apply to both existing and newly launched Zinc options contracts.

•Updated contract specifications and trading parameters in the annexure will be binding on all members and participants.
