The District Magistrate of Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh, has issued a notification fixing the maximum retail prices (MRPs) of certain essential commodities to ensure their availability to consumers at reasonable rates. This order has been issued under the H.P. Hoarding and Profiteering Prevention Order, 1977, and supersedes all previous notifications.

The order mandates that all dealers, retailers, and producers must adhere to the prescribed prices, which are inclusive of all taxes and charges. Shopkeepers are required to issue cash memos for every sale and maintain duplicate copies for inspection by authorities.

Additionally, all sellers must display the price list prominently in Devanagari script at their business premises, duly signed and dated by the owner or manager. The notification will remain valid for one month from the date of its publication in the official gazette.
