The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on March 27, 2026, issued the date of establishment of amendment of certain Indian Standards (IS).
The amendment of the following IS have been established on March 20, 2026, namely: -
• IS 303 : 2024 Plywood for General Purposes — Specification (Fourth Revision) - Amendment No 2 March 2026
• IS 1659 : 2004 Block Boards — Specification (Fourth Revision) - Amendment No 3 March 2026
• IS 15947 (Part 1) : 2020 Concrete Delivery Pipeline Part 1 Specification (First Revision) - Amendment No.1 March 2026
• IS 18384 : 2023 Hot-Rolled Steel Strip, Sheet and Plates for Welded Steel Pipe for Pipeline Transportation Systems — Specification - Amendment No.1 March 2026
• IS 18809 : 2024 Wear and Abrasion Resistant Steel Sheet and Plate — Specification - Amendment No.1 March 2026
The IS without the amendment shall be in force till September 19, 2026
