Industry Specific Compliance The Power Department, Govt. of Manipur, on April 20, 2026, notified regarding the Self-Certification of Low-Voltage Electrical Installations.

The Government has introduced a self-certification framework for electrical installations. Installations with voltage levels up to 440V can now be inspected, tested, and self-certified by the owner, consumer, or supplier. However, installations above 440V will continue to require inspection and testing by the Electrical Inspector.
