The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on April 25, 2026, notified regarding the Submission of the Initial Accessibility Audit Report for Digital Platforms.
The following has been stated:
• It has mandated all trading members to submit an Initial Accessibility Audit Report for their digital platforms (websites, mobile apps, portals) in line with compliance requirements under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, and a prior SEBI directive
• Trading members are required to submit this report through the ENIT portal by April 30, 2026, including details such as auditor certification (IAAP-certified professional), scope of audit, key findings, and remediation action plans.
• The circular emphasizes ensuring digital accessibility for persons with disabilities and directs members to complete audits promptly, as this is a mandatory compliance obligation.
