The following has been stated: -
•Elections for various Municipal Corporations, Councils, and Committees in Haryana will be held on May 10, 2026.
•This includes general and bye-elections across multiple wards and local bodies.
•To enable voting, the Governor has declared May 10, 2026 (Sunday) as a paid holiday.
•The holiday applies to employees of shops and commercial establishments who are registered voters in the concerned areas.
