The Multi-Commodity Exchange Clearing Corporation Limited (MCXCCL) on April 27, 2026, issued a circular regarding System Audit of Professional Clearing Members (PCMs).
The following has been stated: -
•As per Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) guidelines and Multi-Commodity Exchange Clearing Corporation Limited rules, PCMs must conduct a System Audit for FY 2025–26.
•Audit completion deadline is May 31, 2026, and submission of the audit report is by June 30, 2026.
•PCMs who carried out clearing activities during the period are required to submit the audit report.
•Follow-on audit (if required) must be completed and submitted within one month of corrective actions.
•The entire compliance process, including follow-on audit, must be completed within 6 months, with penalties applicable for non-compliance.
