The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on April 27, 2026, issued the Reserve Bank of India (All India Financial Institutions – Undertaking of Financial Services) –Amendment Directions, 2026 to amend the Reserve Bank of India (All India Financial Institutions – Undertaking of Financial Services) Directions, 2025.
The following has been stated: -
•The Reserve Bank of India has issued Amendment Directions under Section 45L of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934, in public interest.
•The amendment adds “AgriSURE – Agri Fund for Start Ups & Rural Enterprises” to Annex I of the existing Directions.
•This inclusion expands the scope of recognized funds or initiatives under the framework.
•The amendment comes into force with immediate effect.
