Secretarial ComplianceThe Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) on April 28, 2026, issued a notification regarding the submission of the Initial Accessibility Audit Report for Digital Platforms.

The following has been stated: -

•Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) has directed Depository Participants (DPs) to submit the Initial Digital Accessibility Audit Report for all digital platforms in line with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, and Securities and Exchange Board of India guidelines.

•The report must be submitted by April 30, 2026, through the AuditWeb portal, covering websites, mobile apps, and other digital interfaces.

•DPs must ensure audits are conducted by certified accessibility professionals and include audit findings, action plans, and remediation timelines.

•Additional details like auditor certification (IAAP ID) and contact information are recommended in the report.

•Once submitted, no further modifications can be made, and DPs must ensure full compliance with the prescribed process.
