The notification brings into force the amendments corresponding to serial number 66 and related entries in the Schedule of the Jan Vishwas Act, specifically impacting provisions under the Legal Metrology Act, 2009. Accordingly, from May 1, 2026, the notified amendments concerning legal metrology provisions will be operational, ensuring alignment with the reformative framework introduced under the Jan Vishwas Act.
