The National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) on April 09, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Modification in the contract parameters of Silver Mini Futures and Options on Futures.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Key parameters of Silver Mini Futures and Options are revised, including reduction of trading unit from 5 kg to 100 grams.
• The symbol changes from SILVERM to SILVER100 for both futures and options contracts.
• Quotation/base value shifts from Rs/kg to Rs/100 grams.
• For options, the strike interval is reduced from Rs 250 to Rs 25.
• Changes are effective from May 04, 2026, and members must update the co_contract.gz file before trading.
