The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on April 28, 2026, issued a notification regarding the date of establishment and the date till which the standard without the amendment shall remain in force for Particular Types of Winding Wires.
The following has been stated: -
•IS 13730 (Part 8): 2014 IEC 60317-8: 2010 Specification for Particular Types of Winding Wires Part 8 Polyesterimide Enamelled Round Copper Wire, Class 180 (First Revision)
•IS 13730 (Part 12): 2024 IEC 60317-12: 2020 Particular Types of Winding Wires — Specification Part 12 Polyvinyl Acetal Enamelled Round Copper Wire, Class 120 (First Revision)
The date of establishment is April 21, 2026, and the date till which the standard without the amendment shall remain in force is October 20, 2026.
