The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on April 30, 2026, issued a notification regarding turnover fees across segments.
Trading Members are informed that the SEBI turnover fee applicable across all segments—including Cash, Derivatives, Currency Derivatives, Commodity Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives, New Debt, Repo, and EGR—is subject to GST at 18% with effect from July 18, 2022. For the turnover pertaining to April 2026, the turnover fee along with applicable GST will be debited to the respective settlement (valan) account or Exchange dues account of Trading Members on May 6, 2026, which is the third working day of the following month. Members can access details of segment-wise turnover and the total amount payable, including GST, through EXTRANET (current date > EQ > Transaction) on or before May 5, 2026, and GST will be calculated on the amount specified in Column 26 of the TF2A file. Invoices for April 2026 will also be made available by May 5, 2026, under the path Periodic files > 2026 > ZIP folder named SEBIAPR2026.Member_Code. It is further clarified that SEBI turnover fees and the applicable GST will continue to be debited separately from members’ accounts with appropriate narration.
Trading Members are therefore requested to ensure that sufficient funds are maintained in their settlement or Exchange dues accounts to facilitate timely payment. Relevant data files for these charges will be provided in multiple formats, including TF2A through TF2J, where “mmyy” denotes the respective month and year.
