Labour Compliance The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) on April 27, 2026, issued the effective date for extending medical benefits in West Khasi Hills.

The Director General has fixed April 01, 2026, from which the medical benefit shall be extended to the families of insured persons in all the areas of West Khasi Hills, South West Khasi Hills, Eastern West Khasi Hills and East Jaintia Hills districts of Meghalaya.
