The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on May 06, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Withholding payout for certain trades dated May 05, 2026.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Based on directions from the Enforcement Authority dated May 05, 2026, the Exchange has been instructed to stop all suspected fraudulent transactions/activities executed in the complainant’s trading account.
• Consequently, fund payouts related to certain counterparties involved in the affected Equity Derivatives trades have been temporarily withheld.
• The matter is currently under investigation, and any further changes or modifications based on instructions from the Enforcement Authority will be communicated to trading members.
