The National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE), on May 8, 2026, issued Circular No. 15/2026 announcing a mock trading session for the Currency Derivatives Segment scheduled on Saturday, May 9, 2026. The exercise is being conducted as part of the Exchange’s contingency and disaster recovery preparedness framework and will not involve any new version release.
The mock session will be conducted in two phases, with Trading Session-1 operating from the Primary Site between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, including a contingency switch-over period from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM. Trading Session-2 will subsequently operate from the Disaster Recovery (DR) Site from 2:45 PM to 3:30 PM, followed by trade modification and live re-login sessions. NSE has specified that members should use NEAT Version 3.5.4 along with the latest NEAT Adapter Version 1.0.27 for Windows and Linux environments.
The Exchange clarified that all outstanding orders will be purged before each session and trades executed during the mock exercise will not result in any financial obligations such as pay-in or pay-out. Members have been advised to actively participate using all trading software, test connectivity to the DR environment, and re-login into the live environment to ensure readiness for trading operations on May 11, 2026.
