The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) on May 07, 2026, issued a notification regarding the enforcement of Jan Vishwas Amendments for RERA Provisions.
The following has been stated:-
•The Central Government has notified the enforcement of provisions under the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026, relating to serial number 70 in the Schedule concerning the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016.
•These provisions will come into effect from the date of publication of the notification.
•The notification has been issued under the powers conferred by Section 1(2) of the Act.
