The Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd. (MCX) on May 08, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Mock trading on Saturday, May 09, 2026.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited will conduct a mock trading session on Saturday, May 09, 2026 for trading members to test trading and risk management systems.
• Members with approved algorithmic trading strategies must mandatorily participate using all algo strategies, even if no recent changes were made. Participation is required for at least one hour each at both the Primary Site and Disaster Recovery (DR) Site.
• Mock trading schedule:
o Special Session: 1:55 PM – 1:59 PM
o Mock Trading: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
• Members using CTCL, third-party platforms, or in-house systems via ETI API Version 1.4.2 should actively test their applications, including DR setup connectivity. Internet-based participants can use existing SSL VPN access through: MCX Trading Login
• Trades executed during the mock session are only for testing purposes and will not create any pay-in/pay-out obligations. Members must also ensure systems are restored to production configuration after testing.
